"I checked myself into Hay Farm with Depression, Anxiety and PTSD following crisis point. I spent 4 weeks there. It was a life changing experience. The team were incredible; Admissions, Drivers, Nurses, Therapists, Doctors, Psychiatrists, Admin, House-keeping and Chefs. I felt incredibly welcomed and safe from the moment I picked up the phone. The quality and variation of therapy I received was outstanding. However, my biggest take-away is the sense of community and connection you make with the other clients, that Hay Farm intentionally creates. The thought of 'group therapy' filled me with dread. Now, I would continue with group therapy over 1:1. You find real connection, strength, understanding and inspiration from each other. It was difficult to leave. However, with the after-care and top-up programmes, you continue to feel part of the community. I couldn't recommend Hay Farm highly enough."
